Baseband (Imported Waveform)

The Baseband table in the Carrier n node enables you to set the Frequency Offset and the carrier's Power levels.

The General parameters for the Imported Waveform are described in General (Imported Waveform).

Baseband Sampling Rate

Choices: AUTO | 30.72MHz | 61.44MHz | 92.16MHz | 122.88MHz | 153.60 MHz | 184.32 MHz

Default: AUTO

Displays the Baseband Sample Rate. The source waveform will be re-sampled to this sampling ratio.

Waveform Length is directly related to the Oversampling Ratio value selected. The higher the Oversampling Ratio, the larger the waveform.

Total Sample Points

View the Waveform Length, displayed in points. The length of waveform after re-sampled. This parameter is not editable.

Frequency Offset

Range: -76.8 MHz to 76.8 MHz

Default: 0.000000 Hz

Set the frequency offset for the carrier relative to the signal generator’s frequency setting.

The range of the parameter is coupled to the Baseband Sampling Rate and the max ARB Sample Clock of the connected signal generator.

Maximum Frequency Offset for each Maximum Arb Sample Clock
Maximum Arb Sample Clock (RF Bandwidth) Maximum Frequency Offset
75 MHz (60 MHz) 15.36 MHz
100 MHz (80 MHz) 30.72 MHz
125 MHz (100 MHz) 46.08 MHz
150 MHz (120 MHz) 46.08 MHz
200 MHz (160 MHz) 76.8 MHz

Power

Range: -60.00 to 0.00 dB

Sets the carrier’s power relative to the signal generator’s amplitude setting.

Filter Ratio

Range: 1−20

Set the filter ratio. This filter ratio is applied to the source waveform filter.
